That’s the appeal of Attractions Hippiques’ teletheatre network. New technology makes it possible for patrons to enjoy live racing as it happens from all over the globe, seven days a week, from noon to midnight.
Quebec now has 17 teletheatres affiliated with Hippodrome de Montreal. They’re in Blainville, Pointe-Claire, Sherbrooke, Valleyfield, St. Hyacinthe, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Laval, Boucherville, Brossard, Chateauguay, Granby, Jonquiere, Sorel, Terrebone, the Montreal Casino and Montreal’s Place Dupuis.
The atmosphere is friendly and informal. Trained betting clerks are on hand to serve those who’d like to place a wager.
